About Debra J Interiors

Debra is a nationally recognized Interior Designer with more than eighteen years of professional experience. Her career began in New York City with Lord and Taylor’s Interior Design Studio focusing on residential projects throughout Manhattan. She was the Principal of a New York based Design firm until she relocated to Florida to accept a position as Director of Interior Design for Bloomingdale’s in Boca Raton. At Bloomingdale’s, Debra managed both commercial and residential projects and was responsible for creating twenty new showcase rooms a year allowing her to keep the environments creative and functional.
Debra is NCIDQ certified and is licensed in the state of Florida as well as a Professional Member of ASID. She is also a graduate of the prestigious New York School of Interior Design. Her work has appeared on the cover of the New York Times Home Magazine and has been featured in Florida Design, Boca Raton Magazine, Broward Design, Palm Beach Design and Fine Furniture International. In addition, she hosted a weekly segment for the First National PBS Design Series – Décor with Dina Merrill as well as produced an exclusive videotape, Tricks of the Trade which provided design tips to a national audience.
