Debra J. Stein is a nationally recognized Interior Designer with over 25 years of professional experience. A graduate of the New York School of Interior Design, Debra began her career with Lord and Taylor’s Interior Design Studio, where she focused on cultivating the design dreams of clients in the greater New York area. Her superior interior design services eventually elevated her to the prominent role of Principal of a major New York-based design firm. Debra later accepted a position as Director of Interior Design for Bloomingdale’s in Boca Raton, Florida, with distinct responsibilities that included the management of both commercial and residential interior design projects and the creation of 20 new showcase rooms a year.

Once in South Florida, Debra founded Debra J Interiors, a full-service interior design firm determined to deliver the luxury home design desired by her clients. The experience that Debra has amassed throughout her career allows Debra to provide sophisticated, cultured, and inviting spaces that reflect her clients’ personalities and unique lifestyles. Her interior design projects have appeared on the cover of the New York Times Home Magazine and have been featured in Florida Design, Boca Raton Magazine, Broward Design, Palm Beach Design and Fine Furniture International. Debra has also had the privilege of hosting a weekly segment for the First National PBS Design Series Décor with Dina Merrill and produced a video titled Tricks of the Trade, which provided interior decorating and design ideas to a national audience.

Debra is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
